The 'I'm not a racist but...' remark was logically similiar if not identical to the 'I don't condone death threats but...' remark
Kinda like the ol 'I'm not trying to be a dick but...' Or 'I really like you but...'
Honestly speaking throwing in a but greatly devalues anything that was said before the 'but'
I can understand WHY Jersyboy has an issue with adultery but death threats are still a vile way of making yourself feel a little better about a situation you have no control over.
