I have to be honest, I'm in two minds about this. What he did was disgusting and..yes potentially dangerous. I presume the lady didn't contract anything. I'm thinking about victims of violence, who are scarred for life and I know, because a member of my family is one of those, that not even a prison sentence is given in many cases, let alone a two year one.
I don't condone what he has done at all and a punishment indeed, is appropriate..I'm not convinced it warrents two years.
I have watched on TV and heard of numerous cases where, in restaurants..the staff have spat into food and served it to diners. They could contract HIV too...but prison sentences, to my knowledge, are not given.
Morally, it may be different..but the law isn't about morals.
