LOL Jessica - I feel as though I've been summoned to the headmistress' office. I think I started my 'pauses' at the beginning or end of my posts to continue from someone else or leave my post open. I'm not sure when they started to take over, I am aware of it as I'm finding I type my emails this way too - a bad habit. Annoying. I will try to reform.
They're actually pauses, I think, rather than overused fullstops (I guess a fullstop is a pause) and maybe I type as I think, I'm aware of it but I haven't analysed it - I will now. It will be my new obsession - I was running out of ideas anyway, so you've done me a favour.
