I mean that in the UK (and the majority of the world if iirc) have nearly no mobile phone towers that currently support the next generation of mobile phone signals. 4G is the successor to 3G and its a lot faster with internet speeds etc. All of the major American phone networks have some sort of 4G capability, but here, theres only a trial in some city down south.
I think the phone networks here are starting to install 4G technology around the nation, but they're so slow so I wouldn't expect it to be up and running before next year at least.
