A man suspected of attempted robbery has been arrested after he ran into a police station.

The suspect, armed with a knife, fled the crime scene in Halmstad, Sweden empty-handed.

However, when one witness pursued the man, the would-be thief ended up inside the police department, reports Swedish tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet.

Nobody was hurt during the original crime or in the police station.

A similar incident happened two years ago in America.
