But if he gets jail time, yeah it might be hell for him for a while, but eventually he will (most likely) be released and able to live his life again. Probably with police protection/new identity/etc which is more cost to the public too. So he can live his life after taking the lives of innocents...doesnt seem fair to me.

i would be all for jail if life meant life, but sadly it doesnt.
