The obvious & real answer of course is that the Police Station set is part of the Granada TV building & the cars they use are parked in that area behind the set of the street...
But a possible explanation, in Corrie world, could of course be that maybe someone else in Weatherfield could own the same make of car, pretty radical idea I know...
