In seriousness though, I have been emotionally blackmailed, in the sinister kind. Finding a flaw in my weaknesses and using them against me to make me feel that only he can look after me, is there for me and that nobody else cares for me and using his sadness/desperation to trap me and keep me. I look back and kick myself for being so weak and feeble, but at the time I was so hooked by his emotional blackmail that I couldn't see any other alternative. Luckily I grew to stand up for myself, although in turn it cost me my openness to be sensitive, I'm very closed now with my true feelings. |
..is that not different from emotional blackmail...controlling someone like that...I don't know..I think I'm confused about what emotional blackmail is
