They HAVE to hide behind modelling / dating / escort agencies: because it's illegal. They wouldn't have to if it was made legal. I'm not sure how you can't see that.

For me, this again is one of the sensible approaches to what is the oldest profession in the world.
Let's be honest here: there are plenty of (men) and women who are quite happy to infrequently 'date' a man who takes them out for nice meals, takes them an odd trip away and the sleep with them. That's not a whole world away from a form of prostitution. (a different slant albeit) - they may not be taking money in the currency form but they are benefitting from someone else's money paying.
