Here's the Star interview and also another one I found thats nice
Celebrity Big Brother star Preston has opened his heart about his love for Chantelle, and how the hit reality show helped propel his band to stardom.

Speaking to the Express & Star last night the heart throb told how he and his new bride were the perfect pairing, and likened his celebrity status to being a 21st century royal.

And far from Chantelle being the dizzy one, the singer says his “savvy” wife keeps his feet firmly on the ground. “I do love being part of a celebrity couple because I love my wife and so it’s funny that we can both have fun with it”, he said.

“If I was part of couple with someone who wanted to go to premieres every night then it would be horrific, but because I’m with someone that’s savvy, and has all the savviness that I lack, then it’s kind of a perfect pairing I think.”
When Preston, real name Samuel, entered the Big Brother house 10 months ago his band The Ordinary boys had been dropped by their record label, and Chantelle was an unknown model making a living as a Paris Hilton lookalike.

But love blossomed and soon the pair began a fairytale romance. Preston dumped his French girlfriend Camile and proposed to Chantelle with a ring that had been in his family for generatons.

The lovebirds wed in an intimate ceremony in August in front of just 68 guests with Chantelle clad in a dress by Elizabeth Emmanuel.

The pair are now a celebrity couples, The Ordinary Boys have enjoyed a sell out UK tour and Chantelle is a TV star set to release her autobiography. The newlyweds are set to buy a trendy new home in London, and hope for children in the future.

And although Preston insists his band were already stars in the making he admits that Big Brother was a blessing for in terms of meeting the love of his life and as the catalyst that finally helped his band score chart success.

“It was obviously amazing to meet Chantelle there, It’s not something you expect to happen” he said. “In terms of the band, I think the show was a means to an end, but it has definitely attracted a bigger fanbase, and we have been playing better since then.

But he knows only too well that the fame game is fickle, telling how he has refused to sell sensationalist stories to boost his image, or even hire an agent. “I’m really enjoying it. It’s funny how I can just say ‘I’m a celebrity’. And it may be a new royalty - but its not as long lasting.”

Hoardes of fans had braved the rain last night to see their heroes perform an intimate gig at HMV in High Street, Birmingham.

New album How to Get Everything You ever Wanted in Ten Easy Steps is released on Monday.
