TLC have announced their decision to reform, ten years after founding member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes died in a tragic accident.

The two remaining members of the three piece act, Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas, have confirmed that they are planning a US tour later in the year with the possibility of using the same hologram technology that saw Tupac appear at Coachella 2012 being used to see Lopes back on stage.

Speaking to Essence, Watkins also revealed that the group will record new material and star in a TV Documentary.

"We're going on tour; we are in negotiations now with LA Reid, so we'll see what happens. A lot of cool things are coming up," she said. Adding: "Another TLC album? Yes, that's for sure! We'll have new music right after the movie drops. We have everybody that was there with us from the beginning on board".

TLC last performed in 2003. Lisa Lopes died in a 2002 car accident.

Gigwise
