There's a reason to it though: I listen to music on Spotify and you can't really view a full library of albums and songs you have on your account. Because of that I organise songs/albums into a bunch of different playlists.
Like, any artist I listen to with 2 albums or more, gets put in a playlist with just their name. Anyone who only has one album, or I only listen to one album of theirs, gets put in a playlist with the name of that album as the title. Then all singles, and random songs I like I put in a playlist called 'Everything Else' so I don't have to go searching for them all the time.
Then I sort them out so that all the playlists just named after the singer are at the top, then the single album ones after that, and then 'Everything Else' at the bottom.
