Anthropomorphise Yo!
As a detail geek it gives me a little thrill to ascribe names to anything I can give names to as a little joke to myself, so as soon as I realised I could name my Ipod and I named it 'Aoide'.
It's hard to say that without sounding smug..anyhoo
So what do you call your docks/phones, ipod etc...?
My phone - Metatron
My Laptopp - Mephistopheles
HDD - Mnemosyne
Ipod - Aoide
Usb - Mneme
Wifi - Police Van #2
