I used to like Ronan Keating - gone right off him now though!

I think my interest started to wane when I realised that everytime he sang live he seemed to go into 'pub singer' mode; over the top, lots of growls in the voice etc - did my head in.

Have not heard his version of 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' but agree with Janette - he'll never come close to Garth Brooks version - that's a classic. Barry Manilow did a version too but let's not even go there! To be fair, Boyzone did a decent version of Tracy Chapman's 'Baby Can I Hold you' - again though, nothing could ever touch the original.

Anyway Ronan, suppose a bit of publicity will do your record sales no harm at all - or is that me just being cynical?
