...every day I see what children in my school eat for £2..and it really is well balanced..I mean £2 is nothing so they're never going to get huge portions and there are always salad/vegetables but children hardly ever take them..I think I can count on one hand the children who eat vegetables...
..what worries me though is if school meals stop because people don't want them or they are not cost effective for the local authorities..then obviously schools will still offer free school meals to those who are eligable..but they will probably have to be delivered from outside of the school..and that will effect their quality so for the people who really do need that hot lunch...they will deteriote badly..which is very sad and wrong..
