To be honest, IMO, the last time EE was any good wad 2007. The last time it was anything spectacular was when Chrisie was last in it in December 2005 and it's no coincidence that the show went rapidly downhill soon after she left. Although 2006 and 2007 were pretty decent years for EE overall, IMO. Not amazing, but decent. I just find that 2001-2007 EastEnders (to a lesser extent 2004) a danmsite better than having Tanya bury Max alive; Lauren leaving her dad on crutches for a good two months in some ridiculous hit and run; Mad May coming back to kill herself in some stupid, silly explosion and other jarged storylines, not to mention the messed up pacing, MONTHS and MONTHS of filler and plots going NOWHERE and plots being dropped then picked up after 6 months. Absolute rubbish.
