It is quite cute though, and if they are prepared to have a snog for Hello, then they can't afford to get too traumatised when The Sun does it. So long as the stories are loosely based on fact and not vindictive then I'm sure they'll be alright about it.
Let's hope a quick snogging shot was all the photographer was after and now he's got it and a bonus funny face he'll be happy. It's entirely different from 6 months ago when they were taking photos outside Paul's house and choosing the one with Helen looking most glum to prove how nasty he was.
I'll get concerned if we see a snogging or front door shot on a regular basis or details of the contents of their bins, but not quite yet. There are only so many photos of a happy couple a free-lance photographer can make money out of. After a while if they aren't producing a scandal, there won't be any point in hanging around.
What's happened here is that people are getting another chance to see they are serious and genuine. To anyone observant, the Hello photos were genuine, if posed, but cynics could easily assume it's easy to look happy when you get paid. No money here, just a warm, affectionate kiss with a hint of lust for good measure.
In the meantime, the general mood seems to be one of niceness to them and hopefully they can enjoy it. They are still owed a lot of nice stories to make up for the nasty ones from the past, and possibly the nasty ones in the future.
