Coronation Street grabbed 7.5m on Thursday evening (May 31) as Tommy Duckworth's turmoil continued, overnight figures show.
The ITV1 drama pulled in 7.54m (33.5%) at 8.30pm as Tommy started to crack under the pressure of Rick Neelan's demands, while 258k (1.2%) watched an hour later on +1.
EastEnders, meanwhile, entertained 7m (34.9%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Phil helped to search for Ian. BBC Three's repeat screening secured a strong 859k (4.5%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale interested 5.96m (32.3%) at 7pm as Ashley's troubles began to escalate, while the fallout for the ex-vicar was witnessed by 6.44m (30.6%) at 8pm and 209k (1.0%) on timeshift.
