So yeah this is a dystopian science fiction novel (kinda like the Hunger Games I suppose). Its set in Chicago in the future, where there are 5 factions: Abnegation, Erudite, Dauntless, Candor, and Amnity, which everyone is sorted into at 16. Once sorted you remain in that faction for life. If you don't match any one faction then you're divergent. Its gotten decent reviews from the press, and at least half the people I know on Tumblr are going mad about how good it is.
I'm about halfway through the first chapter and its actually really good so far.
The rights have also been sold to Summit for a film adaptation.
