none of the housemates had a problem with him masterbating, they had a problem with him dropping a load on the floor that they all walk on barefoot. I don't think anyone would have had a problem with it if he had wanked in the bathroom into a wad of toilet paper and then flushed it down the loo, they had a problem with it because he left his DNA all over the shower floor.
They would have had the same reaction if he urinated in the shower. It's not about masterbation, it's about bodily fluids in a public space.
