OK, I can see that. I still think he should be more willing to put his point of view forward or else he's just letting people walk all over him. As you said, they're not doing it intentionally, so it's no one's fault but his if he feels maligned but doesn't speak up. The other HMs are admittedly self-involved and unaware of their surroundings, but that should make it all the more clear to Luke that subtle hints and quietly fuming won't get anywhere.
I hope he'll realize this in the future and really snap at someone. That would really get the house's attention, and it might convince me to believe he's something more than an utter dullard
