Except, on his girlfriend's facebook wall, people are commenting about how Deana deserves that. Those are, in part, people who actually know him. They're telling her she doesn't need to condemn what he said because it was totally appropriate. That's not momentary bravado - it's conditioned behavior. One comment even said the only thing she needs to be upset with him for is the suggestion he'd cheat on her by violating Deana. (this is paraphrased, as the original is barely legible)
