I doubt it would work, if a teacher tried to hit a child nowadays, the child would hit back.

I know I would if a teacher tried hitting me s; The best thing to do is just seperate all tables so each child has an individual table. I only left school last year and the thing that would always distract me was sitting next to my friends and talking, so if everyone was seperated (and away from their friends) then I think there would be less naughty children in classrooms.

but then again maybe not.. idk
