I couldn't believe they got a warning for that, there are a billion people living in India, I guarantee more of them eat with their hands then with other utensils.
Would it be stereotyping to say Asians use chopsticks? That it is part of their culture? Because they do, and it is.
More people in the world, in fact eat with their hands rather then utensils, we have hands for the tactile manipulation and interaction of the world around us. Is it seriously considered a negative trait to eat with your hands and therefore the PC brigade has to protect us from it?
Why is it considered negative to point out facts about other people's culture? Is it stereotyping if you point out "positive" facts about a different culture?
I seriously did not take any negative connotation to what Scott said, it was a wonderment out loud, it wasn't said maliciously. In fact maybe he did Ashleigh a favor in educating her that in different cultures people eat differently, she might not even be aware of that...

Are people in the UK so sensitive about stepping off the PC line with any culture or just with Indian culture? I would like to know, because I plan on visiting the UK and don't want someone calling the PC police on me.
