What? That's not true at all. I remember how big the Spice Girls were here in America. They were very popular, and they still are. Stop trying to generalize America because you really don't know what you're talking about.

Obviously they aren't a "serious" band, but pop music isn't meant to "serious". It's meant to be fun, which is exactly what the Spice Girls are.

The Spice Girls are iconic, all around the world. Their level of fandom in the 90s was unbelievable, they were massive.
