Patrick, you're the victim of a crime, the last thing you should do is keep quiet and let them get away with it - it'll make them feel like they can do it to you and/or other people with no consequences. Go straight to the police; if they so much as lay another finger on you it'll ruin their defense and they'll suffer worse consequences. Please, call the police now, tonight, don't wait until the morning, the sooner they take your statement the sooner they can lift the two guys and get the ball rolling. It took my assault case almost 18 months to reach a court and the guy just pled guilty to get off with a slap on the wrist but I did the right thing.
