I haven't got much experience but I've often got my foot into the door by stating that I often take care of my dad's admin work since although I haven't had a lot of formal experience I've still undertaken tasks that I'd do in a real work environment.

Another piece of advice I'd give is that when it comes to the skills section of your CV don't just state your skills, give examples of how you've used them in the past and give them more detail. For example, if you write down IT skills as something you're good at follow it up with something like 'I'm experienced with different platforms such as Windows and Apple and have used Microsoft Office and imaging programs like Photoshop throughout my studies.'

That's not the greatest example mind but I hope you get my drift. Don't waffle on but don't skimp out on details either.

I bet they had a good laugh at my attempt of a CV

So do I literally just state:

- Speaking and Listening Skills *example*
- Ability to Work in a Team *example*

etc?
