And there's nothing a psychiatrist can do to help someone without a mental health issue. Just as Mother Theresa was kind and altruistic, there are also people in life who are self-absorbed, nasty pieces of work. Caroline didn't like being hated, but instead of looking at why this was, has carried on with what seems a habit of a lifetime and minimised others' opinions, with a clear underlying perspective of "anyone that doesn't like me is clearly a dick, and takes life too seriously." That is her choice, and I repeat, not a mental illness. Finally, as for suicide risk, is that a tad dramatic? She has chosen not to care what others think, she thinks everyone else is dumb, and loves herself far too much to do that. I'd be more worried about her parents and neighbours being at risk, now that the vile cow is home.
