If he won pass to final could he win?

OK he came bottom in an 8 way and only saw off Caz as phones were re-opened. But if he won white room, he could relax knowing that he couldn't be nommed. He could bring what's left of his personality and try and trip up those he knew were favs ie the top 4 from Caz eviction.
I think on an international big brother (italy??) a guy was in a similar position to Luke S - bottom 2 in a 7-way split a few weeks before final but ended up in 2nd place with a decent (44%) - the long term favorite was ejected to be fair.
Possible?
