Because to Deana fans she was nothing less than the
winner and they spent 2 months insulting fans of other HM's, saying she was the rightful winner and no other HM had a chance in hell of coming close to her so - called perfection.
Plus the fact they spent their hard earned money voting voting voting for someone that didn't have the warmth and likability to be a winner and they might as well have poured that money down the drain.
There is a lesson there - someone who isn't a good person inside ain't gonna cut it.
