Yes, freezing does affect outcomes. People who expect their favs to be in bottom 2 ie Luke S and Prince Lozza will be prepared to vote and get second chance. Also the fans of the ones saved can tactically work out which is better to turn their vote to. In a final Cheryl may have beaten Julian but Lozza won't (sadly).
