Good topic. I don't think we have seen enough to to know for sure, but I can have an educated guess and say yes. The simple fact that she said "If I wasn't in a relationship, it would probably be different" gives him hope. Why say that at all, regardless of whether it's true or not?
I still think he has been acting like a child though. They are both idiots.
