He wasn't saying Julie was wrong in what she was saying about the 2 girls but only that she went too far at times so leave her to it herself,(after all he was ridiculing Danica with the Prince with the guys as well).
No way could I see Martin nominating her at all,I would have bet on that,I personally don't think the thought even entered his head.

I think Martin's being tactical. He doesn't want to be seen to be too critical of Julie in case she's actually popular with the GBP outside the House, but he's trying to hedge his bets by warning the 'Pussy' Posse off jumping on the bandwagon with her, in case she goes too far. If she went too far and took Asley & Harvey with her, Martin would be faced with the choice of being branded with them as being cruel and unfair, which would damage his image long term, or going out on a limb by himself and risking getting voted out.
