Regarding Julie chewing gum (and I've yet to see her NOT chew any in the house, even for a moment), it is not a nice habit, and clearly one that somebody should have advised her to lessen a little bit. The fact that she does it open mouthed, with no manners, no dignity and smacks her lips together reminiscent of a curb-side prostitute, perhaps highly offends some viewers.
