It was such a good film though considering it was filmed almost entirely in one room with just two actors! Kathy Bates was terrifying!

Think how much your life would have to change if you suddenly became blind though? Youre house would probably need adapted, you would need a dog, nipping down to the shop for cigarettes would become a big deal...
I've just thought of a story I read a while back of a woman who had been blind since birth and somehow got her sight back; she didn't know what anything was, and the only way she could tell, was to close her eyes and feel it. She said she was highly amused by noses!
