This is definitely one issue that I as an American have NO BUSINESS having an opinion on.

I personally would think because Britain is such a small island (That's why i think it makes sense for Ireland to be one country) it would make more sense for it to be united as a single country, but i don't know about all of the intricate cultural and political issues involved. But geographically i think it makes sense for Ireland to be one united country, and i think it makes sense for Britain to be one united country. But i'll shut up, cause it's none of my business.
