A Japanese man has been charged for indecent exposure after cooking and serving genitals to five guests.

Mao Sugiyama, 23, initially offered to prepare his surgically-removed penis, testes and scrotum for one person at the price of 100,000 yen (£790/$1,300) before choosing to split them into portions.

The five participating diners paid 20,000 yen (£160/$260) for a portion, according to the Daily Mail.

Sugiyama's genitals - certified free of infections - were cooked with mushrooms and parsley. The event in Suginami, Tokyo was also attended by around 70 other people, who were fed beef and crocodile.

Sugiyama tweeted before the dinner: "It's a once in a lifetime chance, so I decided on the spur of the moment to do it."

The 23-year-old if convicted could be jailed for a maximum of two years or fined up to 2.5 million yen (£20,000/$32,000).
