Of course you're entitled to believe whatever you want without being rational. Just as I'm entitled to pursue your point even further.
Bottom line is you
are more likely - far more likely - to be killed in a car crash than a plane. Even if you're more likely to survive in a car crash you're still more likely to die in one ... surely balances itself out?
