There were better singers left at bootcamp and judges house than are in the final. If it was an actual singing contest those singers would be in the final.
Lucy is no better than Rylan in fact Imo she is the novelty act.She cant sing and her songs are shyte. Why was she allowed sing her own song the other night, while the rest had to sing covers. Because she cant cut it, that's why.

I agree with your 2nd paragraph and it sums up why the whole show is a joke. There have always been better singers left at bootcamp. I dont find Rylan to be light relief I find him to be a joke. Same with Jonny Robinson, Jedward, Wagner in fact all the joke acts that polluted the show for so long. I dont think watching bad singers is entertaining no matter how many dancers, flashing lights, smoke machine etc there are on stage. You can basically train a chimp to do what Rylan does I dont know how anyone can find it entertaining and there are better singers than him at your local pubs next karaoke night. He brings down the integrity of the show
You're right that XF is not a talent contest and thats what p*sses me off. How the hell have they got away with this sh*te for NINE years. Either the producers are very clever or the public who love it are incredibly dumb.
