It's tough nowadays to call a comment strictly racist when almost everybody has a group of friends that is culturally diverse and you joke about various things together, that some not in your group could consider racist. The line is becoming thin between racist and not racist in some things.
I am guilty of this stereotyping of muslims wearing big backpacks, especially on the tube and I am of course not racist. I laugh sometimes because they know that scares many people, and it seems like they're wearing big packs on purpose to watch people squirm.
But yeah the line is getting thin on some things.
A lot of white/asians say ***** now. How long before the "a" goes to "er" and it becomes socially acceptable, except in some cases.
