I've done the whole hot Christmas/New Year thing. I went to Disney World Florida over the Christmas holidays in 2007 and it was like 23 celsius everyday. It was lovely but cold Christmases are infinitely better.
Though, the whole Disney at Christmas thing was absolutely wonderful. In one part of the park they had snow canons spraying everyone so it felt like it was snowing. It was.. weird.
