Absolutely horrific story,if this had heppened with a Nephew or Niece of mine and I had been in the surgery,I would have just gone straight to the Doctors room if I was getting nowhere with the receptionist.
They can be very difficult but since she was unable totally to properly assess the critical situation then this Receptionist should not be in any position where she has any influence whatsoever as to anyone's welfare and life anytime ever in the future.
