I think Quincy Jones is widely accepted as the Master.
speaking of the neptunes though, i think Pharrell is doing Chelsea Handler's new show now... what a step down for him.. he really was a bit of a flash in the pan, much like Timbaland.
Linda Perry has done quite well.
