Completely selfish on her behalf. He shouldn't have any obligation to pay child support if this was a sperm donation... but it doesn't sound formal, which is a problem I imagine. Will probably result in a drawn-out court case that's eventually thrown out / he's found innocent, and the reputation of homosexuality and adoptive parenthood will be dragged through the mud by the usual suspects.
