Collected pokemon cards but don't have them any more. My sister had a Furby, it scared me.
I was more of a Power Rangers, Hot Wheels and Thunderbirds kind of kid... I had the Tracy Island set, and apparently I cried when Thunderbird 2 crashed in the TV series once.
As for playground crazes... we went through marbles a couple of times, and those little plastic monsters things with faces and feet... dunno what they were called. Pogs tried to take off but failed. A few people collected Magic: The Gathering cards, but I was never interested. The only things I'd swap with friends were pokemon cards and football stickers.
