I like to believe that if something bad happens to me (I break my nose by falling in the shower, I get an STD despite not having sexual relations) then something good will happen to me at some point in the future to balance it (I gave a really good presentation on Friday and the lecturer personally congratulated me afterwards)

..I'm not sure, it would be nice to think so, but I tend to think that it's more we learn something from things (no quips)..we won't realise or appreciate that at the time, because something horrible is happening...but somewhere down the line we will benefit somehow from every experience....I think there's a reason for everything..or most things anyway...but that's not the same as karma...
