"I'd like to suggest that before the firing takes place the two nominated candidates are given a chance to present a defence to the judges."

Hmmmm...if you want to do this I am not averse to it, but it will have to be under the following conditions...
A candidate who suspects they may face the Boardroom can post a plea in the main thread, preferably before I close the poll at 5pm. Pushed for time as it is, so can't really factor it in afterwards, as I want to get the new task up today.
