Germany is to reintroduce a ban on all forms of bestiality.
Newspaper die Tageszeitung reports bestiality has not been illegal in the country since 1969.
Now, if the government successfully enforces the law change, those found guilty could face fines of up to €25,000 (£2,000).
Chairman of the agriculture committee Hans-Michael Goldmann said that they want to stop people pimping or performing "individual sexual acts" on animals.
However, ZETA - a zoophile group - are against the potential new ruling.
A spokesman for the group stated: "Mere concepts of morality have no business being law."
