We shall see with time if she is cut out for the whole industry being interviews, tv, radio and live shows or even miming is popular these days although it would be tragic if she ever did that. I think if her fans just like listening to her music then she will be fine but if people watch her on tv her confidence needs working on alot and her body language.
Leona fans ...would you be happy if she did a cover album of mariah/whitney?....or do you want to see who Leona is, hear what songs she has written herself and see more into who she is as a person.
Also in a years time potentially do you think she could match Shayne Ward? be better than Shayne? That is in sales, fans, touring etc.

But its about beating other people. I like her for her, not because shes successful.
If she did a cover album- I wouldn't care because its her voice I want to hear, not the songs particularly.
Of course shes not going to just do cover albums. She has written songs herself in the past.
