my old man once told me the only cure he knew for depression was to think of things other than yourself. Thats probably easier when youve left school and away from all the peer pressure, when youre in school the pressure is pretty intense. It forces people to conform and to dwell on their appearance , rather than experiment and explore oneself and the world around them. Peer pressure can be a positive thing in focusing a person on challenges, but it can also be suffocating and has the potential to destroy people too.
